Avocados are an extremely versatile cooking ingredient that can be used successfully to blend with and enhance many flavours. They add a creamy texture and a spark of colour while delivering a healthy dose of the good fat. And a bonus, rumour has it that avocados, chiles, and chocolate are aphrodisiacs so the addition of these ingredients can definitely add a little spice to your life.
I am sharing several of my tried and true avocado recipes. All recipes, of course, work only with a perfectly sock ripened avocado.
